Learning activities
The following three learning activities will help you to develop your research and evaluation skills, and to come to your own conclusions about what happened in the past.
The first activity looks in depth at one specific incident involving the militant suffragettes and police. The other activities focus on the different methods used by the suffragists and suffragettes. Which methods do you think were most effective? Are you aware of any campaigning groups that use similar methods today?
